Segen Sauce Sold at the Towson Farmers Market

We’ve been selling Segen Sauce at the Towson Farmers Market for the past 3 weeks and the reception from the Towson community has been tremendous. While we’re still waiting to bring the milder Segen Sauce Cae and other spicy goodness we are now getting ready, Segen Sauce has been the only thing we’ve been selling and we weren’t sure what the reception would be. We didn’t expect Towson to be a hot sauce-friendly town but it has proven us wrong.

Segen Sauce is spicier than most commercially-sold hot sauces and many people who say they love hot sauce find it too hot for them, so for us to be selling as many bottles as we are selling is an unexpected but pleasant surprise. We are definitely glad to offer a hot sauce presence in Towson.

We look forward to adding more flavors and products to the lineup in the coming weeks and are excited for the future.

The market takes place every Thursday until November on Allegheny Ave. between Washington Ave. and York Rd from 10:45 am to 3:00 pm. We are right in front of Towson Hot Bagel and stop selling at 2:30.

Hot Sauce Condiment Hack

One of my favorite condiment hacks is mixing Segen Sauce with another condiment to turn that other condiment into a spicier version of itself. My favorite is mayonnaise. Whenever I make homemade fries, I add some Segen Sauce to mayo and watch the flavors just jump out. I grew up in a system where french fries are eaten with mayo, but it works great with ketchup, too…I know because I tried it.

You can also mix it with mustard, barbecue sauce, horseradish, or any other condiment you like. The great thing about using Segen Sauce is that it won’t overpower the flavor of your condiment so you will still feel as if you’re eating your fries with ketchup, or your ribs with bbq sauce…just with a spicy kick now.

If you like another hot sauce’s particular flavor, you can also mix it with Segen Sauce to bring out that sauce’s flavor, too.

Whenever I hear feedback from Segen Sauce lovers who do this, I’m not surprised. Segen Sauce is designed to mix with any flavor, be it food or other condiments. People put it on avocado, eggs, steak, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, chili, lobster, crawfish, gumbo, wings, and lots of other foods and they have loved it because it doesn’t dominate the food’s flavors with its own. The same thing happens when you mix it with other condiments.

Happy mixing and dipping!!!
